Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) – 2018
The Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) is the technical document that defines standards and legal requirements for electrical installations in the province of Ontario. Published by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) – Ontario’s electrical safety regulator and administrative authority – the OESC is developed through consultations of expert members at the provincial and national level. Updated every three years, this latest edition is now in effect, and as of May 16th, 2019 will be enforced in the province.
